Nanomaterials to Program the Immune System

The Teplensky lab brings together techniques across chemistry, nanotechnology, engineering, immunology, and biomaterials to impact how we architect the immune system through chemically-informed platforms.

Our vision is to:

  • Engineer nanotechnology to program immunology

  • Elucidate fundamentals of multi-cell processes and design rules that impact on therapeutic development

  • Incorporate synthetic nanoscale advances to control immunological activity

  • Synthesize enhanced therapeutics and vaccines to treat cancer and protect against infectious disease
